The Trades Ready Program allows students the opportunity to attend school at BRHS in Bethel one semester per year during their high school Junior and Senior years. During their time in Bethel, they will take skilled trades classes such as welding, shop, and auto shop.
High School Juniors and Seniors who have an interest in skilled trades such as welding, carpentry, electrical, and auto mechanics.
Program Prerequisites and Requirements:
- A sincere interest in pursuing skilled trades as a career after high school.
Courses to be taken while in Bethel:
- Metal Fab I & II (Welding)
- General Shop
- Auto Shop I & II
- OSHA 10 (certification)
- NCCER Core (certification)
- First Aid / CPR
- Other courses based upon graduation requirements, courses available at home site, and individuals’ post-secondary goals.
