- Wednesday – Easter day (wear pink, yellow, purple)
- Thursday – Hawaiian day

Wednesday will be our monthly SOAR assembly where we will acknowledge and celebrate student accomplishments, and there are a lot this month!
The LKSD School Board is seeking your feedback on how to increase student performance. Over the next three years, we are focusing efforts to increase our graduation rates, academic growth, Yugtun and Cugtun fluency, and attendance rates.

There was a vacation day tentatively set for 4/14/17 to accommodate Band Regional Competitions. The dates for Band Regions were set for April 21-22 instead, so there will be school on April 14, 2017; there will be no school on April 21, 2017.

Fifth grade student Hannah Howell’s artwork was selected from hundreds of submissions as a a winner of the NOAA Marine Debris Calendar Contest. Her artwork will be included in their 2018 calendar along with the other winners chosen from around the nation. Great job, Hannah!
